    2. The Green Globe is present on all continents. Five persons run the project :

      The project is carried by Auditors, Certified Businesses and Booking Partners.

    4. The beneficiary is Green Globe only but this company has a deeper meaning and is not self-centered on rentability.

    5. Users
    6. The main users are tourists all-around the globe but also companies and many hotels.

    7. Need
    8. This project answers to an ecological need : bringing more awareness on sustainable tourism, proving that responsible tourism is possible and doable.

    9. Principle
    10. The Green Project lists all resorts, hotels that are eco-friendly and respectful of the environment on an app. It grants them of a status, a certificate, a label : sustainable tourism Lite. Then, tourists can look through the app and choose the best resort or hotel they consider.

    12. The app requires a huge database, a web-based software infrastructure and an app both based on javascript, html and CSS. It also requires a deep-learning system.

    Intreprid Travel

    2. This app is made to satisfy all tourists around the world. It is present in all continent. Intreprid Travel is part of a bigger Company, Intrepid Company. Intrepid Company has many partners such as Intreprid Travel but also Peregrine and Urban Adventure. Intreprid Travel also has a Foundation

    4. The first beneficary is the Intrepid Group, then the Intrepid Foundation.

    8. This company is one of the first company that offers full organized trips respectful of the environment.

    10. Intreprid Travel is a travel agency that is considerate of the environment.

    2. The company is run by Brian Corrieri, Alexandra Cofano and Thévi de Coninck. This app has most of its recommandation in Europe.

    4. Fairtrip is supported by many partners such as BPI France, La Ruche and more.

    6. Restaurants, accomodations, resorts, NGOs and tourists use this app.

    8. The aim of this app is to change touristic behaviour and make people more mindful of their habits abroad.

    9. Principle
    10. This app shows you the places in a certain area which will have a positive economic and social impact such as places to shop, eat and drink. This one allows you to discover off the beaten path accommodations, restaurants, activities, NGOs and more selected for being authentic and having a positive impact.

    Giki app
    1. Project carriers
    2. Giki was founded by Jo and James Hand. It is also part of the SME Climate Hub.

    4. Companies and tourists use this app.

    6. Companies and individuals use this app as it offers an alternative to products, more respectful of the environment products.

    7. Need
    8. It's a useful app for travelers that don't know their ways around a new city. It prevents them from buying unecological products.

    9. Principle
    10. The app has information on thousands on products where it rates how ethical and eco-friendly they are. Like other apps, this can be used whilst travelling and at home, which increases its positive impacts. The best thing about the app is that it can also give you alternative products to the ones you use if they are not eco-friendly enough.

    Research question

    How can we change people's behaviour and bring awareness on the impact of sustainable tourism ?

    The reason you selected this project

    I selected this project because it was the most inspiring project I have seen during my research. I was immediately interesting in this project and I can easily see myself download the app whenever I visit a new area.

    User scenario

    Persona

    Marion is 24 years old. She just found a consultant job in Paris. She is the oldest in a family of three girls. She is not yet own her own flat but she made a financial plan and if she follows it correctly she will be able to buy her own parisian flat in six years. She enjoys to go to restaurants with her girlfriend, her friends. She tries to have as much weekend getaways as possible. She wants to visit every european capitals. She always looks for restaurant recommandations before she visits a new city or country. She would love to visit for a longer time and to travel more but her work does not allow it. She is also aware of ecological changes and it is one of her major political issue. Therefore, she would like to be more ecological neutral and she can use this app to organize her trip and minimize her impact on the environment.

    General principle

    FairTrip is an app that collects data from accomodations, restaurants, activities, bars, guesthouse and always from its customers that are on the app. Then, based on the preferences of the customers, the location they want to discover, the app offers recommandations.
